Gary McNeely

Gary McNeely is a B.U. Alumnus graduating with a Bachelor degree in Philosophy in 1983, before completing his Masters degree from U. Guelph in 1985 and his Doctorate in philosophy from York U. in 1995. He has taught courses in various disciplines, including Philosophy (Argumentation, Moral Philosophy, and Applied/Business Ethics) English (Rhetoric, Technical Writing) and Fine Arts (Aesthetics, Technical Writing). He brings to RDI over 20 years of communications and editorial experience serving as a grant writer, technical writer, and editor for the institute, and welcomes the opportunity to share this expertise while being involved in a range of research projects that impact on rural and northern communities.

He is a strong advocate for life-long learning, essential skills development, and qualification recognition both for Canadians and new immigrants to Canada.
