Epistemic Value in the Writing Brain: A Causal Model of the Variable Effect of Writing on Learning in both the Lab and the Classroom

You are invited to participate in a research study about the effect of writing on learning. In this study, we aim to identify what happens in the student’s mind and brain when they write. We know that writing increases the consolidation of knowledge in our memory. We do not know, however, how this happens. Your participation will help us resolve this uncertainty.

In order to participate you must be at least 18 years old, regular undergraduate student of Brandon University from any Faculty, Department, or Program. You must not have any diagnosis of neurological or mental health disorder.

For participating in the scheduled experimental session, you will receive $50. You will receive this payment at the end of the scheduled session. Click HERE  to book a research participation appointment.
