\"\"Sydney Anne Soroka<\/strong> pursues a psychology major at Brandon University. She is currently entering the last year of her studies and is also completing her undergrad thesis. Her research focuses on expressive writing and the physiological markers related to test anxiety.\u00a0Her main interests in psychology are mental health and counselling. Outside of the classroom she thoroughly enjoys being active outdoors or playing the piano.<\/p>\n

She aspires to pursue a Masters\/PhD in Clinical Child Psychology or Counselling.<\/p>\n

Renata Truelove<\/strong> is an honours student in the Department of Psychology at Brandon University. Her areas of interest include emotion, perception, and cognition, with particular focus on learning, creativity, and imagination. She is passionate about arts-based research methodologies, ecological perspectives and applied positive psychology. Renata\u2019s research interests center around the intersection of neuroscience, the arts and embodied knowledge while exploring the therapeutic potential of art and aesthetic experiences to deepen her understanding of how creative expression can impact health and shape well-being.<\/p>\n

Amy Peters<\/strong> is a PhD student based in Southampton Education School at the University of Southampton (United Kingdom) under the supervision of Professor David Galbraith. Amy’s research focuses on the cognitive processes in writing-to-learn and actively collaborates with the lab as part of our international network.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Lydia Tzianas<\/strong> is a psychology student at Western University and has been a student and mentee of Dr. Limongi since 2022. Lydia will start receiving training and collaborating with the lab in June 2024 in the area of language and mental disorders (Schizophrenia). She represents the Greek culture in Canada, is an Officer of the Canadian Navy Reserves, and loves fencing.<\/p>\n
