Research and Teaching Interests:

Dr. Burcu Yaman Ntelioglou teaches in both the teacher education and graduate education programs. Her work focuses on the language and literacy education in contexts of migration, multiculturalism and multilingualism; second/additional language pedagogy; literacy education; multiliteracies pedagogy; transcultural literacies; language and literacy education in urban and rural school contexts; linguistic and cultural diversity and equity in ECE, K-12, and post-secondary educational contexts; language revitalization of Indigenous and minoritized languages; curriculum studies and teacher development; and the use of collaborative, community-engaged, participatory approaches, and digital methodologies in research.
