We will spend a considerable amount of time attempting to discover solutions to the following problems: How can we formulate hypotheses about the mind in a formal and universal language (i.e. mathematics)?\u00a0<span>How can we test these hypotheses ? How are we justified\u00a0in\u00a0generalizing the results of an experiment to the population at large?
